C. E. Poverman

C. E. Poverman's first book of stories, "The Black Velvet Girl", won the Iowa School of Letters Award for Short Fiction.

His second, "Skin", was nominated for the L.A.Times Book Award.

His stories have appeared in O'Henry, Pushcart and other anthologies.

He's published several novels: "Susan", "Solomon's Daughter", "My Father In Dreams", and "On The Edge".

He teaches fiction and screen writing at the University of Arizona and has been the recipient of a Fulbright Grant, as well as one from the National Endowment for the Arts
and a Chesterfield Screenwriting Fellowship.
